This could have been a great place to stay but the apartment is poorly maintained overall. The roof of the terrace had disintegrated, furnishings were threadbare and much of the outside furniture had water stains. A stretch cover had been placed on an old settee which was not comfortable. The bathrooms smelt of drains and were very old and in poor condition. This was the most expensive Airbnb apartment we stayed in over 5 weeks in Italy and offered the poorest value for money. The area around the apartment block had evidence of fly tipping and was poorly kept.

Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten die Wohnung zu finden, aber Franca hat gleich sehr hilfsbereit reagiert und ist uns entgegengefahren. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, besonders die Terrasse ist ein Traum. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend und der nahe gelegene Bahnhof stört kaum. Um das Zentrum und die Strände zu erreichen braucht es einen kleinen Fußmarsch. Schade dass es kein WIFI gibt. Das sollte in der heutigen Zeit Standard sein. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben nur Weingläser vermisst. Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer waren neu und bestens ausgestattet. Die Bäder waren sauber aber etwas älter. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wunderbare Abende auf der Dachterrasse genossen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort hinreisen.

Great place to stay. That view alone was worth it! It is definitely a long walk up after a day of exploring, especially if the elevator is down, but the place is big and clean with very comfortable beds, and we loooooved that patio. We arrived late and Franca arranged for a friend to check us in. He was lovely and even took our uncle down to the store for supplies - so kind! Just a note that there isn’t wifi, and that’s clear in the description but could be a deal breaker for some. I would only suggest some basics in the kitchen like olive oil and coffee.

Great, spacious, stylish apartment with amazing terrace and view There were couple debatable moments I saw in the feedbacks once booking: 1. Train station nearby For our family it was not a problem at all, it's not really noisy, and my daughter had additional amusement watching arriving/departing trains from the balcony. So rather benefit than drawback =) 2. Apartament located far from the beach Well, it's true, however in Tropea you'll always anyway have to walk through lengthy stairs and/or step ways, as the town located like 100 - 200 meters above the sea. So for us having some extra distance was definitely worth having amazing view (even despite we had to carry our 3 years daughter on our arms some part of the distance) I also should admit Franca's apartment is one of the seldom cases on Airbnb when in reality it looks and feels much better than on the photos (especially the terrace) If we try to find what can be improved, it'd be nice to have more kitchen amenities and wine glasse

Franca è stata disponibilissima anche nell’aiutarci a sistemare un piccolo problema dell’ultimo minuto che ci si era presentato prima di arrivare. Consigliatissima!
