We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Selim's Airbnb in Gemmayze! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home in this warm and welcoming house. Selim was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and more. The place was spotlessly clean, and every amenity we could think of was included, making our stay comfortable and convenient. What really stood out was the constant availability of hot water and electricity 24/7, which is not always a given everywhere. The area itself is vibrant and full of life. We enjoyed the nightlife with a lot of bars right at our doorstep and started our mornings with the delightful coffee shops nearby. I can't recommend Selim's place enough for anyone looking to experience the best of Beirut in a cozy, well-maintained home. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this Airbnb is the perfect base.

This is truly a rare find in Beirut. 1. Unbeatable location for being in the middle of action, walking distance to museums archaeological sites, and a testament to the rebuilding after the blast and the resilience of the area’s residents. Interest factor through the roof. 2. Quiet super clean super comfortable place with everything you need. Owner rebuilt after the blast creating built in very interesting furniture. I like that because it’s super clean. Bathroom water pressure and temp amazing any time of day. No issues with power or wifi. Soft sheets, comfy mattress, clean inviting shower. 3. I thought the reviews about Selim might be exaggerated, but they are not. Selim is your ally in Beirut. He made us feel safe and welcome even before we landed. Greeted us at 4:00am. For every issue (and Beirut presents many) he was there to fix manage add joy or remove obstacles. He is an integral part of why this was our best visit so far. Win. Win. Win. Truly a gem.

Selim's place and hospitality should be the standard for a five-star rating. I have given other places five-stars but they are substandard compared to Selim's place. Everything was of the highest quality and extremely comfortable. He has thought of everything. Selim is truly a genius in how he set up the apt and the quality is first class. One day I sat out on a balcony to work and it started to rain but I did not get wet at all. Selim had arranged the balcony in such a way that not even a drop of rain fell on the table. Truly amazing. Selim is very friendly and an exceptional host. He was always available and ready to meet our every need. When we arrived he took us on a walking tour of the area so we could purchase some groceries. He always went above and beyond to help. He has the sweetest, most fun spirit. I would rate him and his place with seven-stars if I could.
