Comfortable, clean & cosy house with coastal views located in a stunning area -nearby to Miltown Malbay & Lahinch with The Cliffs of Moher & The Burren accessible by a short drive. The main purpose of our trip was to attend the Ennistymon Book Town Festival & to visit Salmon Bookshop & Literary Centre, this beautiful home was a perfect location for us with all of the extra attractions a bonus. This modern styled home has a cottage feel & a lot of home comforts provided. The beds were really comfortable, with upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Crockery, glasses & utensils all available - & I was very pleased to find a corkscrew easily after a very long day trip! The hosts provide a really informative guidebook via email & we certainly availed of some of the recommendations -especially the local food! We enjoyed a great lunch with excellent friendly service at The Old Bakehouse in Miltown Malbay. Frank was excellent to deal with, with very prompt replies & very friendly- thank you!

We had a lovely stay in Frank's cottage. It is in a beautiful location facing the sea, located between Milltown Malbay and Lahinch and well situated for exploring the county of Clare. The house is well equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Frank had kindly left some essentials (milk, eggs, cereal) to get us started and a selection of toys for our 3 year old. Frank is a great host and the photos don't do justice to his wonderful cottage. It was a home from home for the duration of our stay and I would definitely return again. Thanks Frank and family.

We are just back from a wonderful stay at Frank’s cottage. It was so well appointed, though fully equipped and in an incredible location. Frank was a great host, so responsive and helpful. The kitchen supplies and goodies were very well received! The location is perfect for exploring the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch and (a little further afield) Bunratty. The photos really don’t do the cottage justice- it has to be seen to be believed!

Lovely property on stunning location with great size garden for use which overlooks the sea, but also adjoins fields with horses and grazing cows which we enjoyed walking up to every morning. The property had everything we needed for an enjoyable week long stay, together with a few extra bonus features, such as a shed to store wetsuits etc. overnight, toys and books and a stair gate to keep our toddler safe upstairs. Would not hesitate to recommend this property for a stay in this area, but would point out that a car is necessary as the main road leading into the property is not suitable for walking. Frank was a perfect host and contactable throughout our stay.
