The property is in an amazing location set in forest and high up looking out over Jena and beyond. It is extremely quiet and private and is surrounded by forest, yet there are facilities within easy distance. We had two adults and three children staying and there was space for us all across three bedrooms. It is a family home anyway so there were children's toys and games aswell as very good garden facilities such as a tree swing, trampoline and fire area with grill. You have to walk up the hill and stairs to reach the house due to the location. Thomas is a responsive and friendly host who has an amazing house and we will return if possible if we are back in this area.

Super Lage, fantastischer Ausblick, man muss allerdings gut zu Fuß sein. Tolles großes und gemütliches Haus mit riesigem Garten. Wir haben uns mit den Kindern sehr wohlgefühlt. Hervorragender Kontakt zu Thomas, war immer erreichbar. Ich empfehle es sehr gerne weiter.

We stayed almost two weeks in this cozy wood house and felt so welcome and completely at home. The view is just amazing, you really feel on top of the world :) and the garden is really relaxing. The climb up was a challenge sometimes but we felt proud every time we achieved it with less rest stops on our way up :) Thomas is a great host, instantly helps out when there's help needed. Thanks for our wonderful stay up the hill!
