Bottelier is very centrally located and a very nice, quiet and safe residential area: several supermarkets, numerous restaurants, beaches, the city - everything is in the immediate vicinity and within a few minutes drive: Mambobeach, Caracasbaai & Jan Thiel Beach in 5 minutes. Likewise many tourist attractions are only a stone's throw away from here:
Beaches, Snorkeling, Diving, Kitesurfing, Stand-up-Paddling, Windsurfing, Jetski, Boattrips, Deapsea-fishing, Sky-diving, Curacao Sea Aquarium, Dolphin-swim, submarine Curacao, the Ocean lense, Quad-Tours, Ostrich farm, Aloe-vera farm, Amazonas, Tugboat-beach, Fort Beekenburg, Directorsbeach, mini golf, shopping mall, organic farming, pharmacy, medical center, ice cream parlor, fresh fish dealer (be sure to try), fruit and vegetable dealer - and the best pizzeria on the island is only 3 minutes away (wood fired oven).
About medical care: Curacao has the most modern hospital center in the Caribbean, the CMC, built in 2019 at a cost of over 200 million euros....
About safety: you can move freely - especially in our environment - without worrying about your safety. Of course, you should not leave valuables open in your car... we have not had a single unpleasant experience in the two years we have lived here....
Also interesting: there are no really poisonous animals on Curacao!

Directly at the house there is a private parking space. A rental car is a "must" to explore the island and all its attractions. From the house most of the attractions of the island can be reached quickly and easily.
To make your stay as comfortable as possible, a Suzuki Jimny is available for you as a rental car, which you can book separately with us for 59.- $/day. Thus you can arrive comfortably from the airport by cab - your rental car is then waiting for you at the front door. Our Jimny is the ideal vehicle to explore the island, robust, with manual gear and switchable four-wheel drive - we assume a careful treatment of the vehicle. Please pay the vehicle rental in cash upon handover.
