This was the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in! It was immaculate, beautiful, and had a great view of the sea from the top floor. Mary and her husband made sure we knew how everything worked in the rental and gave great restaurant recommendations. They made us feel cared for and were responsive on all communications. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Crete.

Meliti Villa is amazing! We stayed here for 2 weeks as a party of 4, 2 couples including elderly parents in September. The Villa itself is fantastic. The master suite (seen in the pictures) is lovely. The other 2 rooms are smaller, but still perfectly fine, each with en suites. There’s also a shower room on the ground floor and another toilet on the top floor by the living room. So bathroom-wise it’s very good! The Villa looks brand new, I’m pretty sure we’re the first people to use the cooker-it was pristine! We ate out/in every other day, which is great if don’t want the flexibility not to eat out all the time. There’s a built in bbq outside, but I was lead to believe that’s for the adjoining Villa, so we just cooked in the kitchen. It’s a great space though, dishwasher and a big fridge freezer too. There is also a separate laundry room with clothes horse. The most unexpected yet incredibly useful thing the Villa has is a lift! Having elderly parents with us, they used this each day as they’re a bit unsteady climbing stairs. It’s also great for transporting dinner and drinks to the top floor if you want to eat on the 10ft long dining table and then have drinks on the balcony! And of course it also means no dragging suitcases up and down stairs. The outside space is immaculate too. The pool is a great size, and the pergola is a very clever design providing shade throughout the day. We loved having the allotment too! We ate freshly grown tomatoes and mint in our own Greek salads every day. There are also peppers, chillis and aubergines, such a lovely touch! We weren’t sure from the pictures if the entire property was one Villa or 2, it is 2 villas. However we never saw our neighbour-I have a feeling this is used by the owner only a few days a week, but whatever the arrangement is, the pool and pergola was for our use only. The Villa was cleaned every 3 days by the lovely cleaner, who keeps the inside and outside immaculate. There’s also gardeners that come once a week too. Locally there are a lot of outstanding restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Maria recommended Salavantes and it really does serve outstanding food, the moussaka croquette and zucchini were incredible. We ate there and the Corina Star hotel many times, the Corina has a slightly nicer setting for sunsets, and also the restaurant is family run with a lot of the produce coming straight from their own farm. We learned wherever we went to get 5 or 6 appetisers to create our own meze and that generally fed 4 of us to the point of bursting!! The last couple of points I’d make about the Villa is that the garage parking under the Villa is via a pretty tight garage entrance. We found it easier to reverse in, but don’t get a hire car that’s too big! We got an Astra and think we’d have struggled with anything wider. I certainly wouldn’t have got my 3 series in! Also, the main road is very busy and quite noisy. However saying that it didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the outside space and the double glazing in the Villa is excellent so it blocks out the nose at night and won’t keep you awake. Across that road it’s only a few meters walk to the Crystal clear waters and lovely Sandy beach. Beware the little fishies! Remember those fish foot spas, where they had tiny fish nibble the dead skin off your feet in the 1990’s? Well these are the nibbling fish! I wore aqua shoes and didn’t get nibbled, but everyone else did!! Overall a brilliant Villa and a great holiday, I’d highly recommend this place.

New modern stylish villa, well maintained and very helpful host. Niko was on call when ever we needed him. Pool was great and the panoramic view from the top floor was breathtaking. Close to the beaches (2 minute walk) with restaurants a plenty in walking distance and a mini market on your your step. All in all a fabulous place.

This place is worth every penny. The 3rd floor view is amazing and the space is fantastic with high ceilings and modern decor and a large outdoor patio. All three bedrooms are nice size and all have their own private bathrooms and shower. Master bathroom shower is nice and big. A nice cleaning lady came every 3 days to refresh the place. But my favorite part about this place was the outside area. Huge outdoor living space with a pool, private fence, soft grassy area, grill area, and tomato/pepper/herb garden and rose garden. It’s actually pretty incredible. I stayed here for 18 days with my wife and daughter. When Niko found out I booked his place and was coming with my two year old he went and bought a sleeping area and high chair for us that was there the night we arrived. He also arranged a rental car for us that was delivered in like an hour. He was a very responsive and helpful host for us. All in all this place is a 20 out of 10 and we will absolutely be back.
