We spent 5 weeks at Dries’ beautiful Boho Bungalow. The bungalow is located on Bantai Beach in a community of a few bungalows. The bungalow is exactly like on the pictures (actually in reality a bit bigger than expected:) with very tasteful interior and stylish furniture. Only natural materials are used, the bed linen made of organic cotton what we really appreciated. Dries is the perfect host: always reachable, super-friendly and helpful! We loved our stay and exploring the island from our base there. Bantai had surprisingly so many great options for coffee and food. We hope to be back soon! BIG Thanks again to Dries🙏🏻

olga was very helpful and the location was nice and close to the beach. unfortunately the place is set up only to look nice and not for comfortability or funtionality. the bed looks cool but is one of the worst my partner and i have ever slept in, the rock hard mattress and terrible pillows left us both sore, also nice looking blankets but none with any comfort or warmth at all. also the shower is extremely low pressure and they gave us an extra charge to pay for the electricity we used instead of including electricity in the price of the room like normal.

Dries and Olga are great hosts and we had an amazing stay in their bungalow for a week. The interior was very cozy and the bungalow felt very homely with a lovely kitchen located outside on the veranda. On a plus side they provide drinking water, the beach is literally around the corner, as well as laundry services and a great place to rent a scooter (SOP). We’ve had a little incident during our stay where an entire colony of ants decided to settle in our ceiling, when reported to the hosts - they responded quickly wanting to sort the issue as soon as possible. Ants moved out a couple of days later as apparently they like to migrate often. All in all a lovely stay and we were sad we had to leave it. We highly recommend it. A nice, quiet, local place on the island. Ps. There is a super comfy swing chair on the veranda too!!

We stayed at Dries' AirBnB for about 10 days. We had to deal with various problems concerning the electricity, for example the failure of the air conditioning, flickering lights, etc., but it must be mentioned that this was due to the poor infrastructure and not due to the misconduct of the hosts, who also allowed us a partial refund. All in all, we very much appreciated the willingness to compromise and the flexibility. This made the stay rather mixed. On the whole, the accommodation is rather something for people who accept a few compromises in their comfort and are interested in adventures and Robinson Cruso feeling. The interior design was really very coherent and beautiful, and there were also practical details, such as the equipment for a possible visit to the beach (beach towel).
