We had such a peaceful holiday staying at Jean- François’s house. Beautifully decorated, comfortable sofas and beds. Very quiet, lovely sunny garden, everything feels new - great showers. The house feels so spacious and really useful utility room. Wonderful walks right from the front door and a little playground 2 min walk from the house. Perfect! We would love to return. Thank you so much! We have returned feeling very rested.

Great house in a tranquil location with good access to Bayeaux and the Normandy Beaches and Mont St Michel, Cancale and Britanny Beaches. Had a lovely break and recommend the house.

We had a fantastic stay at La Barronie! The house is so lovely - beautifully appointed and very thoughtfully restored. The living room and stunning fireplace which now houses a modern wood burning stove was so cozy and welcoming. The location is serene and the charming village of Gouvets was a peaceful and beautiful base for us to explore Normandy. We are grateful to Jean-Francois for such gracious hospitality and wonderful memories for our family.

We had an amazing stay in this gorgeous house! It truly was like a dream house. It was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a family of 5. Mireille was a wonderful host. She was so kind and went above and beyond to help us! We would highly recommend La Barronie and hope to stay again someday!
