I stayed at Jennifer's place while I was visiting my college student in Northfield. It is a great location, a nice neighborhood & not far from Target & a couple awesome local coffee shops. First, the apartment is adorable! Decorated very nicely & lots of little extras that make the stay very cozy. A cute little pond outside making it very peaceful. The main bed was a comfortable king-size bed. We only used that bed. I did some cooking & baking while I was there & the oven & gas stovetop worked great. There were some pans, bowls, & utensils to use. She had some great options for making tea & coffee and a nice selection of pods & tea bags. We could park in her driveway & walk around the side of the house to the basement walk-out apt. There's a nice collection of extra bedding and towels. Jennifer was very responsive with our questions. A wonderful experience and we'd highly recommend.!

Spotless, tidy, comfy basement unit with walk-out patio. Loads of natural light. Quiet suburban setting with nice views of adjacent pond. Convenient access to Northfield and its restaurants, colleges.

The place was nice and well taken care of. As the other reviews stated, there were noises from upstairs, but nothing that was too disruptive. Being a basement on a chilly day, I felt cold while sitting around, but the bedroom and bedding were plenty warm. The shower was nice sized. The kitchen was a pleasant surprise, as I don't recall seeing a picture of it on the site. I wish the listed price revealed the added fees up front. I offered this as a gifted getaway because the prices seemed so reasonable. Once the fees were added in, the price was nearly double. I followed through because I didn't want to disappointment my guest, even though it put it out of the range I had wanted to spend. I hoped to arrange for an earlier arrival time, but that too was an additional fee. I'm sure some of these fees are not the host, but Airbnb. The location was convenient and easy. The view from the sliding glass door was pretty. The couch was comfortable. We had everything we needed. Thank you Jen!

This is a beautiful, peaceful spot! We especially enjoyed the gorgeous sunrises, looking out over the view of the pond and farm fields beyond. Jen was responsive and helpful, but also not intrusive - a great host. We stayed here for ten days as we waited on the completion of home renovations, so we appreciated being able to unload and load our stuff close by the entry to the unit. The bed and couch are both super comfy, and there is good desk workspace. Highly recommend this place, this host, and the convenience to Northfield!
