Joe was the most responsive host we have encountered during any of our trips. The place was perfect for a quick tournament stay. We look forward to visiting again!

Did not receive check in instructions until AFTER check-in. (not 48 hours before) I checked in after dark. I received at least 3 different addresses/units! I was very confused & could not FIND the address w/ my children! NO UNIT number was initially provided. I was not made aware there would be a UNIT to seek out. I felt unsafe and did not have accurate check in info! The place is just a room. No Kitchenette; No Stove and NO SOAP!! DEFINITELY ROUGHING IT! Being Your Own Toilet Paper Only 1/2 a roll for 4 people!! The space appeared like a Storage Unit w/electrical outlets. Hotels w/ ACTUAL AMENITIES were the same price in the heart of Gatlinburg and they provide SOAP! Host responded quickly. But unfortunately, he did not respond with the proper information I needed to check in. And host did not provide check in 48 hours before; but only AFTER my check-in hour. The instructions were late & did not contain all check-in instructions. Got 3 to 4 different addresses bf receiving unit

The place is cute and has a lot of potential. The beds are not very comfortable. Every time we sat on one the whole bed moved over. The creek is beautiful right next to the room. I wish there were chairs to sit out and relax on the porch. There needs to be a plug to plug in a hair dryer. It rained early one morning and my husband and son both woke up to a drip on their face. The host was responsive to say maintenance would be out to fix the issue. Left early that morning to spend the whole day out and came back around 10:30 and nothing had been fixed. The bed and mattress were soaked. Needless to say we left.

We had a number of issues that came up during our stay. The roof in the first cabin we stayed in started leaking and got the bed wet and the internet was having connectivity issues. So, why the high review? Because of the ownership that Joe’s team took for the problems we ran into. As soon as we reported that the ceiling started to leak, they immediately accommodated us with a different cabin. As far as the internet goes, they logged in and reset the router for us and through some troubleshooting we discovered that one of their mesh routers had failed. We just moved one from another room to a more central point and the internet worked great. No matter how hard you work to prevent issues there are going to be times when issues arise…they seemed to all arise during our stay, but our hosts made each of them right and were in close contact with us to resolve the issues quickly.
