Our traditional French Logis is situated in the beautiful countryside of the Charente, close to the excellent amenities of Montmoreau and Aubeterre Sur Dronne. You will find a warm welcome waiting in the charming surroundings of our 19th century home. The newly refurbished private ensuite bedrooms will ensure your stay is comfortable and a delicious continental breakfast with a generous selection of homemade preserves, cereals, cold meats and pastries will get your day off to a great start. Logis du Poirier appears on the Napoleonic cadastral plan of 1836 as a large property sited in its own grounds. It remains so today, although it has grown in size as it has been through its various incarnations. You will arrive by a pretty tree lined road to an enclosed private courtyard with secure parking facilities. Whilst the facade of the Logis is awaiting it's new look, you will find the interior with nicely presented accommodation having good, comfortable facilities. The west facing, newly refurbished ensuite bedrooms look out onto the courtyard and over the barn rooftops to fields beyond. Toiletries are provided along with tea and coffee making facilities and a shared fridge for your use. The large back garden, containing trees and shrubs is available to use during your stay and provides welcome respite from the hot summer sun
