We wanted to experience the solar eclipse totality and we found this place. The nearby lake boat launch area offered the perfect place to view the eclipse. The cottage is easy to find using GPS. The interior is cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for comfort and cooking. The bed was comfy as was the living room for playing charades and the porch/deck for eating and visiting. Angie offered ideas for restaurants and shared local eclipse times with us. Be sure to use the keypad on the door (not the keybox to the right of the door) and pull the door towards you when locking up. Nice place, great host, lots to explore in the area.

Three bedroom, 2 bathroom house with A/C a stone throw from the PA side of the causeway! WOW! When I was a kid we could have only dreamed of such comfort while up at the lake! This house has everything! We baked, we cooked on the stove top, we grilled steaks on the porch. Everything we needed was there. We will be booking again for sure!

July 22-29, 2023 Big Dig Cottage was a wonderful get away. Angie was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She was so quick to respond to any question I had. I could not believe how perfect everything was from walking into the kitchen and seeing it so fully equipped with everything you need. To every bedroom just so cozy you cannot wait to curl up and fall asleep. The eye for detail that is everywhere made our stay feel even more inviting and just added that perfect touch. My family had a very nice stay at this cottage and we look forward to visiting again in the near future. Thank you for opening up your cottage to us for the week. Lisa Pittsburgh, PA
