My husband, pup, and I stayed for two weeks at Jess’ gorgeous place, and can confirm that it’s one of the most beautiful stays we’ve ever had. Her place was spotless, has beautiful custom built furniture, great books/puzzles, and the most stunning west facing view of Mt Benson park. On top of that, Jess has gone out of her way to provide amenities that make every guest feel like they’re staying at a friend’s home. Thank you Jess and Kerwood for opening up your gorgeous home for all of us to enjoy. I really hope to come back one day soon.

Jessica's suite was so comfortable and was a great home away from home when we had to leave our home due to a flood. This pet friendly suite was so great and my cat settled in right away. Jess was really great host who really did think of everything. I will be recommending this suite to all of my friends who are coming to the area.

Jess was very responsive to my inquiries before and during my stay. This unit is in a very safe neighborhood. The moment I walked into the home, I had a fine appreciation for its layout, conveniences, amenities, decor, color scheme. It was sparkling clean. I have not seen such style and functionality in my life. This was a dream home. The kitchen is laid out perfectly and organized, functional and appliances are stylish and top-notch. basic spices, olive oil, coffee all provided with plenty of pots, pans and quality utensils. The furnishings were stlyish & half were built by Kerwood. personal touches in this home make it so comfortable. every painting on the wall was adorable. The bathroom was laid out properly with a very quiet fan, towel warmer / dryer, hot water was instant. upstairs bedroom space was great. enough room to do yoga. patios were awesome. dog friendly and Jess helped plan my sight-seeing. i loved our chats and use of backyard. i loved the host and home

I wish I could give Jess' place more than 5 stars. My partner and I spent a month here as a first stop in our move to Nanaimo and it was the perfect place to get settled. The apartment is super cute with lots of unique touches--very cool kitchen cabinets, well decorated, and a beautiful view of Mt. Benson! With a grocery store in walking distance, lakes with trails close by, and just a few minutes drive downtown, it's super well situated. Jess and Kerwood were the kindest hosts, super helpful if we ever needed anything, and they provided tons of recommendations for activities, restaurants, breweries, and more for both Nanaimo and the rest of the island. I cannot recommend this place enough, do yourself a favor and stay here!!

If you’ve read the reviews for Jess’s place, trust me when I say they are all true. Fabulous cozy little home that had everything we needed. We had a ton of rain and snow, so we stayed inside a lot and cooked. The kitchen has everything and the Bluetooth stereo was great for background noise.. Jess told us a few places to go and they were great- and you can walk to the lake which we will do again, but in the summer. We def will be back again!!! Thanks Jess!!!
