I appartement se trouve dans l hôtel ce qui est pratique pour les modalités d arrivée. Le personnel est très sympathique et souriant Nous avons tout de même eu pas mal de désagrément tout long de ce séjour 1/ problème de wifi non signalé à notre arrivée, dès notre 2eme jour on nous demande de récupérer la box juste pour tirer un fils … résultat 4 jours sans wifi à devoir aller au bar pour nos recherche et appels!! Aucuns geste commercial n as été proposé pas même un verre offert au bar 2/ gros problème de douche, déjà pas évident d utilisation et surtout aucune pression juste un filet d eau. 3/ les tapis et chaise de la salle à manger sont pleins de tâches pas très agréable, autant ne pas mettre de tapis

Our family of five, including three young kids, stayed in this apartment for approximately two months. I think it is probably one of the best, if not the best, long-stay apartment in Saint Louis. The private terrace with views in almost every direction is the centre piece. The kitchen is small but functional, and otherwise the apartment is very spacious. It’s a great space to have friends over for dinner, or coffee or drinks on the terrace, which is a bit removed from the hubbub of the city. The staff of the hotel below the apartment are very friendly and helpful, and it’s convenient to be able to occasionally visit the hotel restaurant/bar for a meal or dessert. The neighbourhood is in the heart of old Saint Louis, with shops nearby, heaps of life in the streets, and plenty of interesting architecture to explore while strolling around the island. The French Institute and French school are about a 12 minute walk away. I would say this apartment is very suitable for families like ours who intend to stay in Saint Louis for awhile to study French, or just to appreciate the place at a slower pace. The discounts for long term rentals make the overall price reasonable. The apartment is at the top of the building, and there is no elevator, and while that could be a challenge for some, we appreciated the exercise. The one inconvenience we experienced during our stay was with respect to odours. We occasionally detected an unpleasant smell from the bathroom plumbing, and the restaurant kitchen vents just outside the apartment bringing cooking smells inside depending on the direction of the wind. That said, these minor inconveniences were far offset by the great virtues of this apartment. We would happily stay there again in similar circumstances.

Si vous cherchez un hôtel très bien placé, confortable, avec un bon restaurant et même des groupes locaux le vendredi, et aussi avec une équipe qui veut faire tout possible pour assurer que votre séjour au Sénégal est le meilleur possible, Hôtel La Residence est pour vous.
