We had a great stay at Lore's place. It was very spacious and afforded a great location to work remotely and go for some cycling training rides. While not too centrally located, it was relatively easy to get into town by bus. We also a car, and there was plenty of free parking on the street. The balcony overlooked a garden with a fountain and we would sit outside and would enjoy our breakfast there. All-in-all we would definitely stay there again if we were in Lyon.

Kentin sakin bir köşesinde şehir merkezine otobüsle kolay ulaşım ve doğaya da çok yakın, nehir boyunca yürüyüş yapılabilir ve adadaki park güzel. Güzel bir ev ve çok iyi bir ev sahibi. Biz çok rahat ettik.

We liked Lore’s place very much. It was quiet and private with a nice view of the river and a ‘secret garden’ with a fountain which you could hear from the kitchen window. The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom spacious. We absolutely couldn’t fault the facilities and we would return as the area is really lovely. Just remember that a lot of Lore’s private stuff is around so you need to respect that. If you are a stranger to Lyon and coming from the train station, take the C3 but the bus stop is a little hard to find as it’s right behind the station (opposite side to the tram station). Once you get to St Paul, walk down the hill and turn left around the corner on the river bank to the #40 bus stop, on the same side of the river. To get into the city from Lore’s place, the stop is right across the road and, if you time the bus right, it’s only about 20 minutes into Vieux Lyon. Once we had worked all that out, it was great and we felt like locals!
