We were met at the door by our host and after a tour of the house, we were told to help ourselves to water, soda and some fresh muffins any time. The house is a Victorian with all of the furnishings. In some areas in the room perhaps too many things, but it was lovely. Our host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Parking was close to the back door which we used at times. Breakfast was very good. It included coffee, tea, juices, muffins, fruit, egg casseroles and one day sausage. She served breakfast according to the schedule of the guests. We ate a a nice large dinning room table with others. Coffee was placed on a table outside our room an hour before breakfast. The large bathroom, though shared, was never a problem with a shower, tub and closet with towels, etc. We stayed two nights, traveling an hour or so further south after the first night to view the eclipse in total in Vincennes, IN. The cost of our stay and the convenience of location was excellent.

Angela was a wonderful host. It truly was a bed and breakfast, as breakfast was made fresh every morning! She asked whether we needed breakfast and was flexible to any of our plans. One thing to keep in mind is that there was only one bathroom on the second floor for toilet/shower that had to be shared if other guests were staying. Would recommend here to anyone needing affordable lodging in Paris!

Excellent host and cozy 1880’s charm. Quiet spot perfect for an overnight recharge on our journey. The nearby pizza and Italian restaurant has some nice offerings and cold beers.
