Built in the 1950’s and remodeled over the years to meet the needs of different families. Built in the 1950’s by The Carter family, this home has many stories. One of which, Mrs.Carter raised EIGHT children in this house while her husband worked outside of the house to provide for the family. After the “original Carters” passed on, their home has provided for nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. In 2004, the home was willed to my husband. In 2001, we married and made this our home for three years. Work moved us into town but our hearts are still in the country. In order to maintain the upkeep of the house, we have opened our home to guests through Airbnb. Our house is small, vintage, and cozy.
