The Totten Trail Historic Inn is situated within Fort Totten State Historic Site, located near the southern shore of Devils Lake, North Dakota. The site is one of the best-preserved frontier military posts in the United States. Bedroom ~ This room has a king-size bed with a private bath. It is located on the upper level of the Inn with stair access. This bedroom is one of the ten uniquely designed bedrooms available at the Totten Trail Inn.

Staying at the Fort was a wonderful experience. The house was beautiful!, vintage with lots history. There was so much to see in the old buildings which are being restored. our host was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, made us feel at home. would love to go back some day and stay longer.
Mary Beth was a great hostess, very personable, and accommodating, gave great recommendations. Only minor issue was I did not receive gate code before I arrived. I would stay again if I was ever in the area.
We loved to stay in this historic place and were impressed with all the decor and the cleanliness in the place. We felt very welcomed once we had arrived. Thank you.
The historic Totten inn is a living museum. The antique furniture and accessories in every room are a true wonder. We will be telling our friends and acquaintances of this most special place to stay and visit. The history we all should know. The Totten fort and the work of the volunteers making it the living museum is incredible! Mary Beth, our live in host, was the best!

Good Eats ~ The kitchen at the Totten Trail Inn is furnished with cooking and baking appliances, serving utensils, and dishes; however, if you choose to forgo that option, you can indulge at one of the eateries a short distance down the road (approximately 13 miles). The options are plentiful ~ family dining, fine dining, bar and grill establishments, specialty shops, and fast food too.
