"The landlord is very kind 👍 The house is very clean and tidy, with all facilities available. It has a beautiful backyard where you can go for a walk directly. It's very close to nearby restaurants and attractions. Trust me, I will definitely go again."

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Ann-Marie's beautiful Cottage by the Bowser. It was clean and had all the amenities one could want. The wine, cheese, milk and cookies that were left were lovely - especially the goats-milk cheese. All the beds were very comfortable with lovely linen and warm doonas. There were also lovely warm dressing gowns to put on after a shower. Even though close to the road, we hardly noticed the traffic. The large 'back yard' stretched down to the creek and was a lovely spot to walk the dog and watch for wildlife - kookaburras were frequently seen. The only thing that took us by surprise were the number of steps in the house. There are 3 levels, with one or two steps down to the lower two levels. We quickly got used to it and it wasn't a problem to us, but it might be to some. It took our small chihuahua by surprise and she went for a tumble, but also adjusted. The instructions on managing parking were appreciated. Thank you Anne-Marie - we'd come again!

Fortunately we got to meet Anne-Marie when we checked in. She was a very friendly & warm host and if anything had understated the space on offer. It was a beautiful, quiet and peaceful break from the busy city life and a perfect getaway. Our only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer. Can’t recommend this place highly enough ….10 stars 👍😊

All up Cottage by the Bowser was excellent. Very close to The Trading Post cafe with home baked goods galore, books, wine etc. , Mt. Macedon Hotel, Hanging Rock and of course, my favourite local picnic/walking path, Mt.Macedon Cross and Sanitorium Lake. The house is huge with space to spread out. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous. Will return again one day hopefully.
