This was a BEAUTIFUL and very enjoyable stay. The accommodations are very simple and perfect for focusing on the lake, nature and views while taking a break from the everyday modern and technological aspects of living. We appreciated the simplicity and the privacy this location offered and do hope to stay again!! Very Clean and the bed was very comfortable. This is a great place to support as well!!! We are grateful for this past weekend and my sweetheart was incredibly thrilled with his early "Christmas present" which included going and seeing the Celtic Angels at the nearby Newton Center for the Performing Arts. Thank you so much for hosting us!! What an absolutely STUNNING location. Perfect price point, accessibility and all. Merry Christmas!!!

We enjoyed our stay on the lake. Caught a few fish and relaxed under the shade trees lakeside. Would stay again.

Beautiful location, decent stay. We only stayed one night, but it was nice to sit out by the lake in the morning and enjoy the quiet. Would stay again.

Nice place to stay with the feeling of being back in an old camp. Only had one night as I was just passing through the area but this location offers some intriguing opportunities. Fishing, paddling and other possibilities may be possible but you need to check with the host. I enjoyed good food and the small town flavor of Hickory’s historic downtown.
