Drink your coffee on the wide wrap around porch and watch the hummingbirds fly by as you experience the southernmost part of the Appalachian mountain range. We are located on a sixteen acre campground and retreat center in the Locust Fork River Watershed, two miles from Mardis Mill Waterfall, four miles from King’s Bend Overlook park, and fifteen miles from Palisades Park. Our grounds include sandstone glades, a cleared meadow, and restoration forests. The interior of the cabin is small and cozy, with a studio kitchen, sitting area, bed and bathroom, all surrounded by a wide, covered wrap around porch. It's an ideal space for folks who prefer to be outside. The porch overlooks a one acre meadow surrounded by sandstone glade forest. The kitchen includes an electric stove, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and toaster oven. There is a propane grill on the porch with an additional burner. The small bathroom includes a stall shower with 10 gallon hot water tank (enough for a 10 minute hot shower!). There is a queen bed and a twin bed in the cabin.
