This is an adorable huge place right on the water that they made into a hotel. The room I had was the king with water view and it was amazing! Huge patio with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. The room itself had a mini fridge to use. It was very clean. Shower has nice hot water. Heater was perfect. It was very peaceful and quiet. The water/beach is private. It’s not for swimming but amazing just to lie down on the beach chairs and enjoy the view. I walked to dinner at nearby restaurant (capsize) and also to breakfast the next day. The town is super cute and has small gift shops. Ben was very responsive and helpful. Recommend this place for a weekend getaway for sure!
What a quaint spot tucked away in charming Oxford, MD! It was quiet and so peaceful to walk around the grounds at night and swing on the hammock chairs on the porch. Beautiful spot, right on the water. Easily walked into the town and to our restaurant that night. Ben responded to our questions right away and offered suggestions of things to do. We would love to come back if we have the chance.
The first word that comes to mind when thinking about our stay is tranquility. We loved our cute cabin with its comfy bed and great bathroom. But the real highlight was the private waterfront on the property. My whole body started relaxing once I sat down with my wife by the water. Ben was exceedingly responsive and helpful. Our only regret was not staying longer.
We absolutely loved our stay! Ben is a wonderful host and the resort is such a peaceful oasis. Highly recommend.
My Husband & I stayed at Sandaways for our 20th Anniversary. It was just what we needed and Ben was such a big help. He even reached out to allow us to come early due to a tropical storm coming. The room was so cute and cozy, the view is gorgeous, the small town feel was nice too. We will definitely be going back in the future. If you need some quiet time alone, this is the place. We were highly impressed.

The closest major airport and train station is BWI, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Sandaway. You can hire BayRunner shuttle to pick you and drive an hour to Easton Airport. From Easton arrange for Enterprise Rent A Car, Uber, Bay Country or Key Lime taxi. If you're driving to Sandaway we have free parking. Kayak and bike rentals are available for delivery. There is a covered bike rack on the entrance porch.
