It was really disappointing that the gym was under construction, I specifically chose the place because of this facility. When I mentioned the problem for Tabas, the reply was that there are many gyms in the area, which I found extremely provocative! The process of supplying different documents, pictures etc. prior to arrival is also a bit much, I needed to supply more document then when checking in at a hotel, I’ve never experienced this renting at airbnb. The place is located well and the beds are good; but the kitchen only has the bare minimum.

Super appartement bien équipé dans un quartier très agréable. Les contacts avec les hôtes ont été très clairs et proactifs. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement pour découvrir ou redécouvrir Rio.

Una muy mala experiencia, llegamos y nos dijeron que nuestro departamento original en Ipanema estaba ocupado por sobreventa, entiendo por que se jugaba la final de la libertadores y había mucha demanda. Horas más tarde nos derivan a otro departamento en Leblon otro barrio y nos dan mal la dirección, de todas formas logramos ubicar el lugar y el portero no nos dejó ingresar. Así pasamos la primera noche en la calle y recién logramos entrar la 2da noche. El departamento de Leblon estaba ok pero no tenía ni un elemento de limpieza, tuvimos que salir a comprar papel higiénico. Hice el reclamo y nadie me ayuda a recuperar el costo de la Primera noche que no pudimos utilizar el departamento. Un desastre la experiencia y airbnb tampoco te ofrece un canal para solucionar esto.

Great apartment, great value for money. Beautiful area. The personal information that Tabas requires the guests to submit before to checking in, but after booking, is excessive and poses a serious risk for identity theft. It is also fair to mention this requirement was not visible “above the fold” on the house rules, only on the very last line after the section was expanded. The point of a platform is to facilitate a safe transaction for both parties. If a host requires more information, the platform should be more active in screening this process and protecting their guests.
