The air bnb was very beautiful looking. I do however have a few concerns. The first night I was there sleeping and the bedroom window above my head woke me up in the middle of the night by automatically opening and there was no way to shut it. They didn’t have anyone come to fix it for two days and there was no compensation toward my stay. I am from Florida where it is very warm compared to Germany and I was very cold with this window being opened. On the day that they came to fix the window the owner didn’t even knock on the door he just opened it and brought the two gentleman inside with him. I’m thankful I was sitting at the kitchen table during that time but it made me feel uncomfortable. Furthermore, I went away to Italy a couple of days and upon returning back to my air bnb i noticed lights were turned on and window shades opened that I didn’t do before I left. When I asked if they entered my air bnb they said yes they had the man come fix the window again. I wasn’t informed at all about this and felt like an invasion of my privacy. Lastly, I asked to extend my stay upon arriving in the beginning but my plans changed and I had to leave back to America sooner than originally expected. They wouldn’t let me book longer via air bnb and said I must pay 100 Euro per night in cash which is way more than what I was paying in USD through air bnb. This was the final straw for me. I didn’t feel comfortable with their request to extend my reservation privately and not use Air BNB and everything else that happened as well made me not trust this air bnb business. I will never come back here and I also wouldn’t suggest booking here either. There are noisy kids downstairs and a train right nearby, it’s not quiet and there are so many windows it’s very bright and hard to sleep in. I have never had such a horrible air bnb experience in my life. I ended up leaving two days early from what I paid for and they didn’t refund any monies either. The wifi is connected to their home and doesn’t work very well at all either. You have to be in certain spots of the home to pick up the wifi.
