Alexandra met us at her place and let us in. She explained how everything worked and gave us the keys. We exchanges personal emails and texts numbers and we were able to communicate with her during our stay. We were there a whole month. Fatima, her housekeeper, came at the 2 week mark and cleaned the a-argument and changed the linen. The laundry mat literally right next door worked out great. Her place is very safe and quiet, but one block for bust Rue de Bretagne and several metro stations. A 10 minute walk to Hotel de Ville and 5 minutes to Place de la République. Finally, it is a quintessentially Parisienne apartment. Charming. Would use again if we go back.

Alexandra’s apartment was perfect for our weeklong stay in Paris. As two women (mother and daughter, ages 60 and 35), we felt very safe in both the building and the surrounding area. The apartment was just as described and with two bedrooms and two baths was a wonderful retreat for when we needed a little space of our own. The beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever found in a rental. And though we were situated in the middle of the lively Marais, it was so quiet you’d never know it. There is a boulangerie and a small market steps away. Plus, the Marche des Enfants Rouge is right around the corner. Shops, restaurants and cafes abound (don’t miss the hot chocolate at Carette in Place des Vosges!). The location is ideal for exploring Paris. We walked everywhere. And if all that isn’t enough, Alexandra is a top-notch host who kept in touch before our arrival and during our stay. I’m so happy we found Alexandra and her lovely apartment for our stay!

My wife and I stayed a month; we hated to leave. The apartment felt spacious and very comfortable. The WiFi was excellent. Everything you need for a lovely stay is there. You feel like a Parisian here! We got to be regulars at a little pizza shop across the street and were treated like locals. Alexandra has great tips about local places like The Bouledogue. The neighborhood is awesome; how can you beat having Enfant Rouge market around the corner?

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Alexandra’s calm and tasteful apartment! The location is perfect - very centrally located, in a beautifully maintained building - and the apartment could not be more charming. It has everything you need to feel at home while in Paris: a well-equipped kitchen, a proper bathtub, a functional office area, a cosy living room, and a very comfortable bed. Alexandra was very kind, helpful, and prompt in all our communications, and made everything about my stay easy and comfortable. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at Alexandra’s fabulous Airbnb in the Marais. It exuded the charm of old Paris . It was beautiful and wonderfully decorated and designed with lots of personal touches and beautiful artwork. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were all there. And it was perfectly located in the heart of my favorite neighborhood in Paris. I couldn’t have asked for anything more and would definitely book it again.
