2nd time around felt even more at home!!

Overall we had a great stay here. Met our needs at a great location near downtown. Neighborhood was calm and quiet. Host was friendly, responsive, and helped with a few items that needed to be addressed. (Broken trash can, low hand soap) However, the host was reactive rather than proactive. After I raised the issues, he said he was already aware of them. While there was a quick resolution, why not fix it before new guests arrive? Also needed clarity on the trash/recycling pickup schedule. Previous guests left things in the cans that attracted lots of flies, some of which got into the house and caused a nuisance during our stay. Recycling truck driver said the cans needed to be put out on the curb, and frequently they are not at this house, leading to missed collection. This should be included as part of check-in information/posted inside somewhere. Additionally, the refrigerator water filter needs replacement (red fridge light) and the comforter in the second bedroom was stained.

The details and pictures of the house mostly matched the description, with a few items to highlight: 1. Besides the foosball table, there were no kid toys or books available as mentioned in the details of the listing. 2. Grass was well overgrown for my dog. 3. The kids bunkbed is not sturdy and unsafe as described in others comments. 4. The master bathroom plastic shower curtain has grim and pink buildup on the bottom. 5. Neighbors directly behind the backyard fence played loud music until 11:30pm. Really nice features of the house include: 1. The comfortable bed mattresses! 2. The space of the house 3. Dog friendly 4. New appliances like the fridge and washer/drier 5. Host accommodations and responsiveness. If a few things were changed, this house would have received a 5 star.
