Staying at Steve's was a wonderful farm experience. We got to pet reindeer and see multitudes of chickens, rabbits, guinea hens, peacocks, etc. The house was full of antlers, animal pelts, examples of Steve's taxidermy, and more! And, Steve was so kind and willing to share his interests and stories with us.

Wow! It was amazing stay ! He’s very friendly and feel free to ask anything to him! Beautiful and clam environment, we can feel the different experiences in the stay ! Wake up with the sound of rooster and pigeon, and it was first experience to see the reindeers and feed them ! The the rooms were neat and clear and we can see the collections inside home and finally the beautiful walk through the forest ! Totally it was amazing experience for me

Steve welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home! Staying at Reindeer Way Station is a unique experience. Steve has a lot of knowledge to share, not just about his « family » (animals), but also about his natural surroundings (edible plants, trees, etc.). We truly enjoyed spending time with him, and hearing about his life experiences! The breakfast of fresh farm eggs was delicious! Steve let us use his kitchen to heat up some supper we brought. We highly recommend Steve’s place!

what a wonderful man and what a wonderful place. From the moment you enter the farm you are greeted with animals of all kinds. Steve, the one man Army, takes care of everything. In his daily routine, he takes care of animals, maintains the trails near his property, cooks food, makes jewellery and much more. while you are there he would allow you to join him in his chores as much as you like and orchestates a very unique memory for you. I do recommend his place to anyone with the least bit of interest in nature. it's an experience you'll never find anywhere else.
