Lovely space with a wonderful garden, close to the beach, cafes and restaurants. The hosts are super friendly and responsive. The place is well cared for, with personal touches in the decor, the kitchen is equipped with the necessary for a comfortable stay, it is cozy and spotless.

Marcella's place - casa Djarmal - was just lovely. My husband and I stayed in the suite for a whole week and we were perfectly happy there. It is spacious, very new, clean (with daily cleaning and sweet cleaning staff). A common BBQ and fitness equipment can be used. A lovely little garden is right in front of the terrace. It is just a 5 minutes walk to the main beach, which is one of the nicest on the island. Marcella and her colleagues organized a complimentary shuttle service from and to the airport, which worked perfectly. Pompeio, who checked up on us to see whether we needed anything was super-friendly (as was his lovely wife) and gave us a wealth of tips for where to eat and what to do/where to go on the island. Overall Maio was the highlight of our 3 weeks trip around cabo verde - it is such a beautiful, yet unspoiled place- and our stay at casa Djarmal contributed to that greatly!
