What you see is what you get, and this is a good thing! Our stay at Valdonica could not have been better, if you’re looking for a rustic feel and truly get a grasp on real Tuscany with a modern twist of luxury...... look no further! During our stay, we had requested and inquired on a few things, that were answered and taken care of promptly!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in der Toskana und haben gleich einen Volltreffer gelandet. Valdonica ist ein wunderbarer Flecken Erde, an dem man sich gleich willkommen fühlt, auch dank der Gastfreundschaft von Martin und seinem Team. Durch die Lage am Berg gibt es immer einen leichten, sehr angenehmen Luftzug, so dass wir an manchen Tagen einfach nur am und im Pool waren, anstatt in überhitzte und überfüllte Städte zu fahren. Mein Highlight: die Fußbodenkühlung im Zimmer, super angenehm!

Das Weingut liegt atemberaubend schön. Das Personal ist freundlich und herzlich. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist zum selber Kochen sehr gut. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

We decided to embark on a Tuscan adventure a few nights before we arrived at Valdonica winery.  To my surprise, we just expected a room but were received as family to a semi-private villa!  Martin had built, and maintains a remarkably well-thought out environment. Tamara, who works at the vineyard, greeted us as if we were family; all staff were so welcoming and helpful!   The tiny details are what makes this place wonderful:  we were greeted with a bottle of their lovely wine; the rooms cleaned daily; and staff provided helpful tips to get the most out of the 200 acre experience!  The winery and residences are situated between two quaint towns, each with their own identity.  Sleeping under the beautiful moonlight and waking up to the warm sun also made the Valdonica experience so worthwhile! Bravo!
