We picked this place for it's tranquility and beautiful surroundings (following a busy previous week in Waikiki with our daughter's wedding). The property is perfectly set between the mountains and the surf and beach are immediately in front of the condo. Besides the significant construction (which was fully disclosed to us prior) this property and all its amenities is IDEAL for those that want to get away. Betty had a huge supply of snorkel gear and beach items which were ideal to take in the amazing shallow waters right in front of the building. We loved seeing many turtles as we swam in the warm shallow waters. Additionally this area is perfectly placed far away from the main traffic and tourist areas yet its between the important attractions many folks want to see. 10 mins N is the Polynesian Cultural Center and 20 min South is Kualoa Ranch (a stunning site where Jurassic Park was filmed) . We would love to visit here again especially as it provided the perfect get away.
We spent four incredible days at this amazing place! From stunning sunrises to the soothing sound of beach waves right outside our door, and its convenient location near shrimp trucks and other attractions away from the hustle of the big city, it was simply spectacular. The condo exceeded our expectations in size, providing plenty of room for my teenager and tweens to get ready without crowding the bathroom. Each of my three girls had their own sleeping space, which they really appreciated. My husband and I enjoyed sleeping in the living room on the comfortable Murphy queen bed, with the ocean sounds and sunshine greeting us each morning—it was truly outstanding. The snorkeling/beach equipment provided were a bonus, the kids loved snorkeling and saw turtles, lots of fish, and an octopus! And we appreciated the abundance of towels and a well-stocked kitchen. The only negative thing was construction, but it wasn’t bad. Betty warned us ahead of time. Thanks for the stay!
Betty’s place is beautiful and we were sad to leave but will definitely be back again to visit.
We felt right at home in this paradise. Communication from hosts were pretty amazing from start to finish, always checking to see if all is okay.
