We loved everything about the house. It looks like a little cottage from the outside but it is really spacious inside and so beautifully decorated. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to think of everything you might need, from dishwasher tablets, to milk in the fridge, cosy throws, a smart TV and dominoes. The location is really handy: there are pretty walks nearby and it was no more than 60 minutes drive to any of the places we wanted to visit. It was easy to find somewhere to eat nearby and there is a Spar shop and petrol station in the village. It is a brilliant place to stay!

A nice comfortable house , next to a small river in a nice friendly village . Tahir was helpful in getting the internet going for me. All in all I had a good stay there.

We have just spent 3 wonders nights at the cottage which is beautiful, immaculate and has everything you could possibly wish for. The cottage is situated in a stunning part of the National Park in a quiet village with gorgeous walks from the doorstep, a local pub & fabulous convenience store within the petrol station. Would recommend a stay here & would love to return one day.

The property looked exactly like the pictures. Lots of charm, character and very spacious. Kitchen really well equipped with the rooms being light and tastefully decorated throughout. A great place to have a retreat in Northumberland, with easy access to north and south. Good local amenities and lots of outdoor things to see and do. It’s a 10/10 place to visit.
