We had the most wonderful visit at Dewey's cottage. When we entered the house, we were greeted with the fresh smell of a clean house! There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and two in the basement. We were two families, so this set up was perfect, as it allowed each family to have some privacy. The pool, big yard and trampoline were all a hit with our kids. The kitchen was stocked with lots of cutlery, plates, cooking items and basic condiments. The beach was within walking distance - and the view of the lake could be seen from the house which was breathtaking. We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful stay. Pool and views were amazing! A quiet location just a quick drive away from both Goderich and Bayfield. Check in and out was quick and easy. Dewey was very accommodating and available to answer any questions we had. House was fully stocked with everything we needed to experience a relaxing stay!

A beautiful area of Ontario. We stayed here for 3 nights in Aug 2021. Check in was very easy. The host uses a coded lock on the front door. Made it very easy to come and go. The property is on the water in a nice little lakeside neighbourhood bordering farmers fields with corn and soy beans. Streets are well paved for biking. The beach is not as sandy as it should be due to a bad winter last year and high water levels. Still swimmable though. Baysfield is a hidden gem. Lots to explore in that town. Check out the stairs down to the beach area. It’s called Pioneer Park. We bought dinner every night while we were there. It was too hot to cook. Lots of farms in the area as well that sell their products. We found honey, maple syrup, eggs and a produce/bakery market. The house was the perfect location to explore the area.

Our family of 7 were had a wonderful stay. The home was immaculate. Spacious yet cozy. There were ample towels and the bedding was perfect, crisp and elegant. The views of the pool and Lake Huron upon entering was a reminder that we were in a truly special place. The extensive grounds were perfectly maintained and the flowers were blooming. Goderich is a gem of a town with retardants and essential amenities close by. The neighborhood was perfect for walking our dog. Look no further for luxury at a great value. I’d recommend this residence without hesitation to a family wanting a wonderful cottage experience with the feeling of being at ease and well cared for.
