First, let’s start with the positives. This place had a great deck and amazing views of Bergen. It also has a nice washer and dryer. And is within a short walking distance to the wharf with shops and nice restaurants. However, the inside was just a glorified college apartment with cheap furnishings The shower does not drain well at all. There aren’t good directions for parking. You’ll need to navigate to a parking garage and walk with your luggage for about 10 minutes. No instructions as to whether there was a place to drop off before parking. We asked our host but got no answer on this… just the name of a garage in a previous message. Price seemed a bit high compared to similar apartments in the same area . All in all, it is average at best but adequate if you only need it as a base for exploring Bergen and sleeping.

It was a sunny warm few days we spent in Bergen. We were able to really enjoy the deck that looked out on the city. Apartment was spotless and very pleasant. Would recommend.

Fantastic place. What a view! Just breathtaking. The apartment is very well situated to visit all the sites and is a 4 min walk to Bergen station, 8 min walk to the fish market. The house is very well set up, super clean and has everything you may need. There’s also a coop right by the apartment if you want to get some groceries. Overall a great stay at Natalia’s and we would stay again if we are back.

We really enjoyed our time in this apartment. My wife, son (13), and I spent just over a week here. The location is really amazing. It is a quick walk to downtown Bergen, the Bergen town square, to Bryggen, and to the Floyen funicular. There are two grocery stores right outside the apartment as well as a number of cafes and restaurants. The train station is just a couple of minutes walk away, and the largest shopping center in Bergen is right next to the train station, in case you need anything. As for the apartment itself... It is modern and spacious. There are two rooms, which were perfect for us. My wife and I had one and our son had one. The bed in his room was only big enough for him, so three people is perfect for this place. The rooms also have blackout curtains, which was really important since we were here in June when there is daylight pretty much all day. The rooms were not huge, but certainly big enough. They each contained a wardrobe with some hangers and drawers. There is another one in the hallway where you can hang coats and store your shoes. The washer and dryer are in the bathroom and worked great. There is one other storage room with a vacuum in it. The front room was spacious with nice seating and with windows that open out onto the amazing patio/deck. There are also doors to the patio/deck from each of the rooms. It was a little chilly for us (we're from Florida), so we didn't use the deck as much as we'd like, but we had several meals out there when there was sunny weather. The views from the deck are amazing and were a highlight of our trip. The kitchen is also clean and modern, with basic cooking supplies. We were able to make soups and cook a few other dishes. Some measuring cups and spoons would have been helpful. There was also just a single dish towel; I'd recommend bringing a couple of your own if you plan on cooking very much. There was one hiccup with the apartment. There was an issue with the internet when we got there that kept our computers from connecting. We were able to get just one phone on the wi-fi. We told the host and he sent someone over. Once they reset everything, the wi-fi was great! Super fast and everything worked. The host is very responsive. We really appreciated the quick response regarding the wi-fi. We were here for a mixture of work and pleasure and really needed wi-fi for my wife's laptop so she could get her work done. Two other items of note: (1) There is no parking at the apartment. It is in a walking-only zone. So, if you have a car, you'll need to park at the ByGarasjen parking structure, which is like a 5-minute walk away. We had a car and this wasn't a major issue. (2) The dishwasher will sanitize your dishes, but it doesn't really clean them. You have to wash them well before putting them in. Just an FYI. If I were coming back to Bergen, I would want to stay here again. The combination of amenities, location, and views was really amazing. Highly recommended!
