Had my concerns because it was a hostel, but wow it was an awesome experience! The staffs on site are amazing, the place as a whole is a vibe and it definitely has a sense of community. They seem to have events throughout the week as well to keep the guests entertained and have fun. Our room itself was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I actually really liked how the curtain was blackout and it helped us get the rest we needed. We checked out early but they allowed us to stay on the property until 2pm so that we can do some work. Very cool spot and I'd recommend it to any travelers looking for a safe and fun hostel stay!

A bit pricey for a hostel. But easy and manageable. Private and comfortable. And a nice walkable neighborhood. Bring down the price!

Love the family atmosphere and fun environment...ping pong, bikes, small pool, foosball, a piano (!), community kitchen with space for dry and cold goods, a fridge in the room, walking distance (1/2 hour walk) to the beach, Sunset Cliffs, local shops...The team was way more helpful than a brochure on the rack! Weekly events were clearly posted! When I come back, I will pick this spot again!

California Dreams is a wonderful experience and the staff is friendly, welcoming, kind & helpful. I loved the location, met some other incredible traveler folks & really enjoyed my stay. Check it out!!!!!!!
