I will not rent again with this host. As the host is a rental agency, I felt more like a renter than a guest. There were PLANNED power outages in the area for a day of my stay. I was not made aware of this when booking or checking in. When I called the host to tell them, they did not know about them and told me that it is not their responsibility to be aware of the power outages in the area. The outages are listed on the energy providers website, as well as post being sent a week prior to the outage (my sister lives in the area and got a notice) When I asked for compensation for not having power for 7 hours. I was told, quite abruptly, that isn’t something they do and that it isn’t their responsibility to keep track of what’s happening at their property, including any planned maintenance. The issue needed Airbnb mediation and I was refunded ONLY after the host originally rejected the request.Then the water heater leaked onto the carpet on my 2nd last day, so I checked out early.

Clean, Tidy and very suitable for a couple or family of 3 to 4. Location is reasonably good. Agency staff were friendly, professional and attended to any queries that we had. Accommodation was good value for money.

Poor value for money and not in the AirBnB spirit. We will not be returning. To its credit, the apartment, whilst not overly modern (e.g. second floor, no lift), is spacious, airy and well positioned for local shops and the beach. But the accoutrements are too sparse for the prices they charge and the key collection process, through a commercial agent, is cumbersome and intrusive - including the requirement to provide full credit card details AND an electronic signature. You are instructed to bring your own bed linen - or hire it - echoes of old-fashioned caravan parks. The ‘extras’ were sparse, for instance the kind of sachets of soap and shampoo one sees in cheap motels, no milk in the fridge, etc. If we sound cantankerous, we speak as AirBnB superhosts who intentionally follow AirBnB’s mission “to help create a world where you can belong anywhere and where people can live in a place, instead of just traveling to it.” The owners have been advised to employ more commercial platforms to advertise and operate their rather expensive accommodation.

The unit was comfortable and fairly clean. Minor issue with a leaking dishwasher but that was sorted out easily. We enjoyed our stay. Nice location.
