Absolutely wonderful! The location and setting are just gorgeous and peaceful! Plenty of room for our family of 7 for everyone to have their own room. The kids all commented on how comfortable the beds are. That's saying a lot, if the kids notice! Great gathering areas with room for everyone! The teens love the media room with big screen projection tv! The family room has a big coffee table that is great for working on puzzles, while still enjoying the view of the Long Island Sound, in front of a cozy fire in one of 3 fireplaces! The sound system is amazing! The kitchen is wonderful with a layout that allows for multiple cooks to be working at the same time! Penny and Peter are really lovely to rent from! They are so friendly and helpful! It's really a wonderful place for our annual family reunion. We've stayed here 3 years in a row for spring family gatherings and highly recommend it! There's plenty to do with ping pong, pool table, shuffle board and the wonderful beach!

Penny’s home was lovely, exactly as advertised. It fit three generations of our family perfectly, and the amenities were great - especially the pool, the outdoor space, and the screening room for the kids to watch films on rainy days! We loved that the kitchen was well stocked with pantry and cleaning basics that made it so easy to prepare meals. Penny and Peter kept lines of communication open which was great for basic questions. The house is near a nature preserve as well as a playground which was wonderful for our family. And did I mention watching the sunsets from the gazebo? We all agree we want to come back next year!

Our family had a fun and memorable vacation at Penny & Peter's home. Such terrific hosts, they welcomed our arrival with a lovely welcome bag, and had hot pizzas delivered.... SO thoughtful and a lifesaver after traveling all day from the Westcoast! We spent our time swimming, kayaking, ping pong, shuffleboard, billiards , walked the private beach and caught every sunset- so MANY amenities and extras. We have rented a number of vacation homes and this home was voted by our family the most fun and comfortable! Penny and Peter's communication was excellent, they were extremely responsive to all our requests. We appreciated the Welcome Guide, which provides you with all answers to any question you might have before you leave home. It took the guess work out of ..where is the nearest grocery store, best places to eat etc. They thought of everything. The home is so well kept, had comfy beds, and a lot of space to spread out yet still felt cozy. Jenny E.

Nine family members ( ages 14-73) and one dog.- all hope to return ! La Grova pizza delivery the first evening and an InstaCart grocery delivery the following morning.; for those of us who just wanted to spend the week enjoying the property, we were all set. Spotless home, comfortable seating options and beds, great showers, well-stocked ( paper towels, tissues, quality spices, cooking oils, foils/saran wrap, etc) , BBQ, various cookware. Vacation "favorites' were Beans Bagels , ice cream sandwiches from Mickey's, and the trio of ducks that came every day to enjoy the property ( they should have their own internet channel). Morning beach and wildlife sanctuary walks; sunsets at the gazebos. For those who ventured out beyond the deck and pool, a leisurely 20-30 minute drive took them to paddle boarding in Stony Brook, Lobster rolls on the Port Jeff Harbor, and to the ST James LIRR to catch a train for a Broadway matinee. Penny and Peter were outstanding hosts- Thank you!

Very comfortable home. Peaceful in the mornings and sunsets spectacular. The ride to town is very curvy and winding. Rough ride at night. Wished it was closer to a store. We planned our days but mostly spent time at the house and barbecued. When we went out we had late lunches and/or early dinners. So much fun playing shuffleboard and ping pong and the pool was perfect.
