We had a fantastic stay at Meagan’s cottage. The location was amazing including the waterfront property, large sandy area was a great space to use and play a variety of games and activities. The canoe and SUP board was great to use as the water was quite cold in late May! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our group and the cottage was just private enough to offer that private vacation feel. Everything about the cottage and the view over the water was one of the best views for a cottage. The cottage did have what looked like two security cameras posted in the front and back but overall would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The drive in to Meagan’s cottage, in late September was very pretty with colours beginning to change along the winding roads off highway 11 to Lorenz Road. The open concept kitchen, dining, living area on the main floor was spacious enough for the 9 women in our group to comfortably socialize in one area together. There was sufficient seating on the balcony for us to sit and enjoy our morning coffee together while enjoying the beautiful view out over the water. The oversized dining table and chairs allowed us to eat as a group together and the kitchen - with the coolest refrigerator I’ve ever seen - was stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals and cleaning up. The bedrooms were all large and comfortable and everyone in our group commented on how well they slept, many opening windows at night to enjoy the fresh air. The linens, pillows and towels were all in good shape and plentiful. We spent an afternoon on the dock together and a few were able to get out on the paddle boat. There are bubblers around the dock and at this time of year, a lot of weeds, which can be expected, so swimming off the dock was not a good option, but wading in from the beach would have worked had any of our group wanted to brave the coolish water. A few of us went out in the evening and enjoyed a bonfire, the stars and the sounds of crickets. We had one question for Meagan after we checked in, and she replied with the answer within minutes. I definitely recommend Meagan’s cottage for any group, large or small, but in particular it is PERFECT for a getaway with a large number of people.

It was our annual cottage trip of five families including two of our mum'sin their 80s. And we could not have chosen a better place than Meagan's home. Situated in a very quiet locale that has really winding roads leading up to it, this is an ideal getaway for some rest and relaxation. The house is beautiful. well appointed and bright n airy. The six bedrooms, tastefully done, are enough for a small group or family outing. With upgraded appliances, a well appointed kitchen , board games and other knick knacks this is home away from home. Meagan was very easy to deal with and quick to respond to queries Absolutely a treat if you are looking for a quiet place for some R&R and family time. Highly recommended
