It really gives fulfillment to unplug and unwind and so much to walk and discover and this time I brought my binoculars and spotted so woodpeckers early in the morning and some really big hawks

I was looking for a peaceful, quiet and isolated place to get away, and Terrie’s place did not disappoint! A nice mountain stream, basket/net swing hanging from pines, great trails on the property, beautiful natural rocks and a front porch with a relaxing view of the mountains! Perfect for a single person or couple who want to get away from it all! Short drive to Mt Airy and other parks. Will definitely stay again!

This little cabin was absolutely perfect for a weekend in the mountains with our pups. The property is gorgeous and there was plenty of space to walk trails and let the pups sniff all the nature smells. We even got to see snow on our last day! We will definitely be back during the warmer months!

What a great experience!! Very serene and beautiful location and the host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Even though the bathroom is not directly attached, it was not an issue at all. Would highly recommend staying here!
