As with most neighborhoods in metro San Diego, we get a bit of airplane noise as planes descend into San Diego International Airport. It's a non-issue for 99% of our guests, but if you are very sensitive to noise, there is a white noise machine in the master bedroom closet. The planes usually stop at 11pm. And the new air conditioning system will provide more comfort during the hotter months (Aug - Oct) so you can close the windows and not hear much from outside. My wife and I used to live here for 7 years and the noise never bothered us at all. Additionally, we just installed BRAND NEW dual pane windows throughout the entire home for increased noise reduction.

Walking Distance To Shops/Restaurants:
The home is safe walking and/or biking distance to both nice restaurants and cool shops! South Park is one of the hottest areas in San Diego! Or you can do a quick drive to downtown!
There are MANY close by shops, restaurants, coffee places, juice bars, and gyms that you can safely walk and/or bike to. You don’t need to get on a freeway or leave the neighborhood. Downtown is cool and close by, but South Park and North Park generally have everything you need and more. It’s one of the coolest areas in San Diego.
We have a driveway that that has tandem parking for two cars! Ubers/Lyfts are very easy to call in this area and they come quickly. You can also use Public Transportation on 30th Street!

Mission Beach also offers a boardwalk with shops and restaurants, making it a great spot for a day of family fun.
