Laurens一家十分的热情好客，提供了所需要的所有服务，作为一个留学生，房东还一直帮忙找房子，实在感谢。房子的位置非常的好，对面就是超市，可以解决生活上的问题。离火车站十分近，出行很方便。房子里有几乎你需要的所有东西，而且装修得十分温馨。总之是非常满意的经历。 The Laurens family are very hospitable and provide all the services you need. As an international student, the landlord has been so warmly helping to find a house. I really appreciate it. The location of the house is very good, opposite is the supermarket, which can solve the problems of living. It is very close to the railway station and it is very convenient to travel. There are almost everything you need in the house, and it is very warmly decorated. All in all it is a very satisfying experience.

Our stay at Laurens and Maikke’s place was great. It was within half a block of the Ghent train station. That was initially a concern, but we experienced no noise in the evenings. Laurens was awesome with great recommendations for dining, wining, things to do and just overall hospitality. The place was sparkling cleaned and it looked like they had recently renovated the bathroom. Pictures in ad probably needs to be updated because it was advertised as a one bedroom and with a loft (with bed) but, the pictures did not indicate that. My friend and I wanted separate sleeping areas, and that is what we got. That is more of a constructive suggestion so even more people can enjoy the comfort of their beautiful home. Thanks Laurens and Maikke for being such great hosts.

We loved our stay at Laurens's apartment in Ghent. It was exactly as described and as seen in the photos, super clean, really comfortable and spacious with lovely furnishings and well equipped with everything you need. An ideal location, conveniently close to trains, trams and bus station with a mini supermarket just over the road which was perfect for our short break and made everything really easy for us. It's in a nice and quiet location and also has excellent sound-proofing, so even the large bedroom/sitting area which faces the road is very peaceful. Laurens was a perfect host, although we didn't meet him on this trip he was friendly and kind, lots of helpful instructions/directions, local recommendations and quick to respond. We loved walking around and exploring Ghent and had a brilliant stay at Laurens's place and would absolutely recommend it! : )

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laurens and Maaike's apartment. Although it's not in the city's historic center, the location is extremely convenient. Street parking is available directly in front of the house, and the tram, which can take you anywhere in the city within 10 minutes, is just 50 meters away. Another 50 meters will bring you to the train station, offering connections to Brussels, Brugge, Oudenaarde, and more. Additionally, there's a 7/7 supermarket just across the street. Despite its surroundings, the apartment is absolutely quiet. Laurens and Maaike are wonderful hosts, providing warm and welcoming communication. Ghent itself is adorable and we certainly plan to return to both city and apartment sooner rather than later.
