An apartment like no other - incredibly beautiful with numerous aesthetically pleasing details and ideas. A true gem of a place. The location is incredible, we even found a parking spot close to it (payable, but the price was acceptable). Marco was very responsive and took care of everything. The only thing we would change is the trash policy, but apparently this is how they do it in Trapani so there is nothing one can do about it (need to take the trash downstairs every day after 9 pm). I need to stress that we did have some doubts about the whole situation after reading some recent negative reviews, but I am more than happy to report that we are glad we decided to keep our reservation amd got to experience such a wonderful place.

Firstly, the good things: the apartment is in a nice building in a great location, is incredibly spacious and has lots of unique features. It has potential but unfortunately has been poorly maintained and cleaned. Alongside a pantry moth infestation, which meant there were larvae crawling on the walls every day and on items we removed from drawers, showers were mouldy and not maintained (one shower head spurted water onto the floor creating a slip hazard and the other drain was partially blocked), used band aids and water bottles were left behind, open jars were going mouldy in the kitchen, and not enough toilet paper was provided for the stay. Every bottle of cleaning liquid in the kitchen was empty but still left on a shelf. We did not want to use the kitchen to cook, given how gross everything was. We reported the issues to the property managers, but they made no attempt to fix anything. It's a shame, because the property could be great - it just needs some serious attention.

Pros: The location is wonderful. The apartment is spacious. Lots of closet space for clothes. Some neat decorations. You can walk to everything. Great restaurants. The people in Trapani are friendly and helpful. Cons: Overall the place is a bit dated (stains on couch covers, limited toilet paper (two small rolls for a 4 night stay). Old bedding. The bathrooms need a deep clean and grout had mildew in small bathroom. The small bathroom flooded (they said they would check it after we check out). The toilet handles need to be updated and/or adjusted. With this said, please keep in mind we travel for several months every year so we have A LOT of airbnbs to compare this to.

1 star for the beautiful location, and 1 star for the host being easy to reach. I wanted to love our stay but it was a disaster. The host texted me 1 hour before our arrival to say there were previous issues with the water but we shouldn’t have a problem. Less than 24 hours after arriving, my dad got up to use the restroom and saw we had NO running water. No way to shower, cook or flush toilets. I messaged the host and he said that we must have left a tap on and insinuated this was our fault! That is preposterous!!! We barely used water at all the night before and the water shut off in the middle of the night. I told him we had to go to the bathroom and take showers. I said there should be PLENTY of water for guests staying for 3 days. He wouldn’t take responsibility! He said at some point that day he could have a guy come out for the issue but he wasn’t sure when. I said we needed a refund because water is a necessity. He REFUSED. We left 2 days early with no accommodations. Shameful!

Fantastic apartment, really beautiful and boutique. Location is the best in trapani, we were here for a wedding so our friends booked the other places available on Airbnb and this one was the best location. Close to the beach, sights, restaurants. Nice and quiet too as the windows are really high quality double glazing. The place is really private and secure, with great amenities. Tip: the ice cream place on the corner does the best Granite in Trapani. note: if you cant walk up a few flights of stairs this place wouldn't be for you. Not a problem for us, but maybe for some people.
