Na door de mooie Siciliaans landschappen te hebben gereden, kwamen we op de ietwat afgelegen airbnb aan van Paolo en Anna aan. Een warm onthaal en prachtig uitzicht zorgden ervoor dat we ons direct welkom voelden. Het is een heerlijke plek om even tot rust te komen en te genieten van al het natuurschoon. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden!

We felt very welcomed by Paolo & Anna - their home was the perfect place to relax and experience total calm. The appartement had all you need and even more. All was very clean. We felt very private in our stay, still Paolo and Anna were available to answer any question and even helped us buy local wine (from their own farm) and olive oil. Definitely need a car - the next, very small though, town is 10 minutes drive, the next bigger town with bigger supermarkets is 45 minutes (at the sea). Palermo is 1:20h drive, Agrigent with its temple sightseeing is 1:30h drive. Not best for sightseeing, expect you are fine with longer car trips - nothing that makes the stay any worse, but you should be aware. The only thing we missed is the hint of the right entrance to the farm (there is a sign, but you need to know) bc it was already super dark when we arrived. Nevertheless, we simply called Paolo and he was easily able to bring us back right way. book dinner with Paolo - it's the best!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Ferienwohnung. Anna und Paolo waren sehr offen, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft hatte alles, was man braucht und es gab viele Rückzugsort auf dem Grundstück. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

We had a wonderful stay at Paolo’s house outside Contessa Entellina. He and his wife Ana truly have the gift of hospitality. We felt right at home from the moment we drove up, and they continued to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We asked Paolo to cook dinner for us one night, and highly recommend to others! It was our best meal in Sicily, and we also enjoyed the local wines Paolo selected for us. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Thank you, Paolo and Ana!
