nic and mick are lovely, friendly hosts.nothing was too much trouble.The lodge is very peaceful and dog friendly. Well worth a stay, with a great pub a short walk away. we even got a glimpse of the resident barn owl. brilliant location for lovely walks.The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Had a wonderful time at the Chalet. Such a peaceful location, surrounded by wildlife, log burner keeping the place warm and toasty. As I was away for work was not able to explore all the area had to offer but will certainly be back with husband and dog as they will love it. Thank you Nic for such a warm welcome and lovely stay!!

Great destination to retreat from the world with long walks and pub lunches. Loved the fire (and lots of wood)! Fantastic stay!

We had an excellent stay over new year and Nicola went out of her way to be very helpful and informative. Definitely recommend to anyone , with or without dogs.
