We feel so lucky to have stumbled across this incredible home. We were looking for a house for our family of 4 that would be close enough to see relatives. This was not only the perfect location but the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It felt so easy to relax and enjoy the views and what the house had to offer. One of the best parts was getting a private tour of the farm and the animals from Laura. She spent so much time answering all of our kids questions and going above and beyond to help make the kids involved in feeding the animals etc. We will most definitely be booking this house again and can’t wait to return!

Such a lovely stay at Laura’s place! Amazing facilities and had everything you needed for your time there. Really beautiful surroundings with lots of options for walks and Laura was really helpful with suggestions of things to do. Such a lovely extra to meet the lambs!

We felt so lucky to have found Laura's property for our Easter break. The house is so spacious with so much room for a family to spread out. The master bedroom is huge! The lodge is very nicely designed, the beds are really comfortable and everything is very clean. The building is surrounded by countryside, with window views on to the fields. A very peaceful, quiet place to be with lovely local walks in the area. It's also an ideal spot to visit lots of the attractions in Derbyshire and the nearby stunning peak district. Laura is a very kind and thoughtful host. We are a family of animal lovers so we were delighted Laura invited us to visit the farm and meet the animals. We were able to pet the ponies and cuddle the lambs. Laura told us all about the care of the lambs, we learnt so much! It was an unexpected treat to our holiday. I would recommend Laura's place 100%. We can't wait to come again!

We had a lovely long weekend stay here, Laura is friendly and responsive. A highlight for us was the opportunity to meet her horses and ewes, plus a few new born lambs! Laura gave great, detailed recommendations for walks and day trips nearby, even sending us links to points of interest websites. Superb hosting. A beautiful property with plenty of space to park off road. The house is spacious, clean and welcoming. Comfy sofas, TV with Netflix, lots of books and board games to keep you occupied. there is a nice size dining table. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooking and we really appreciated having a freezer and dishwasher. The bedrooms have beautiful views of the countryside and you can see the horses & sheep. The beds are comfy with additional pillows and blankets available. Over all a very peaceful and relaxing stay, with good walks.

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious accommodation. New condition, and every need met. Beautiful sunny patio area on which to eat breakfast! A lovely relaxed weekend with friends.
