The house is in a quiet, lovely area. Very close to both Winifred and Boston beaches as well as the Boston jerk centre. The unit was very tidy and had most everything needed to relax, cook and get a good night's rest. We were very surprised that even though there was some music being played on the area, we did not hear it at all in the unit. Hilon was both professional and friendly, and it was a pleasure to chat with her. Donovan is an exceptionally attentive host and it is obvious he cares for both his property and his guests.

Could not access the internet. I used my phone the entire stay to access the internet, get location information and checking for my flight. After the first night I gave up on trying to access the internet the ESSID was visible. However, when you connect, it said no internet. The price was very reasonable, quiet location, seating at the rear of the building if you wanted some fresh air. For the price, it’s not bad. Water is salty and you’d have to purchase bottled water for drinking water. Do the same for cooking to avoid the salty taste….

If you are after quietness, and silence, and want to to be surrounded by nature and singing birds, look no further! Donovan and Hilon's place is an outstanding oasis of peace! Located 20-30min away by car from Port Antonio, the 1 bedroom flat is very spacious, extremely tidy and clean, and very well equipped (the washing machine is a massive bonus!); the big, peaceful garden can be used by guest (seating area available)! AC and Internet worked really well. Boston beach is only 15 min away on foot, and in that direction various restaurants/food huts as well as a mini-market can be found. Communication with Donovan was excellent; he was very quick in his responses and very helpful! Hilon was a magnificent host, always very attentive to our needs, and happy to answer our (millions!!) questions - she even went above and beyond her 'duties' by giving us a lift to Port Antonio and showing us where we could change/withdrawal money. She's surely one of the best hosts we ever encountered!
