10/10 Everything was perfect!. ... Very beautiful home definitely would recommend staying there..Host was very nice and helpful. This place is very quant, rustic and peaceful. It is located off of the Mississippi River and it has a touch of Southern hospitality. It’s definitely a home away from home! We enjoyed our stay and would love to return for a longer stay.
We wanted a true vacation to plantation/cajun country that was within a reasonable distance to New Orleans. We also wanted rest and time to reconnect with each other as a family. River Retreat was perfect and the hosts were great. It was as cozy, clean and familiar as staying at Grandma's house - minus the nosy Grandma part...lol. She was quick to respond to questions and needs, but otherwise left us to ourselves. Highly recommended! Thanks for a great stay!
