Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man ist sehr schnell an der S-Bahn. Wir haben die Unterkunft für unseren Besuch bei Rock im Park gebucht. Man kommt von dort mit den öffentlichen gut nach Nürnberg. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was man benötigt und die Betten waren sehr bequem.

La camera si trova vicino alla stazione, i dintorni sono assolutamente tranquilli e si dorme molto bene. Posizione molto comoda per raggiungere sia il Centro di Norimberga che la fiera rapidamente.

Why Feucht? We (2 adults + 2 teenagers) stayed 3+ weeks because this place offered a perfect balance between price and location for a train-based visit to the region. It's an easy 5 minute walk to the train station, and there are multiple trains each hour in all directions. So you can be in Nuremberg in just 9 or 14 minutes, depending on which line you take, and from Nuremberg on to everywhere else. Or you can take one line in the other direction to Altdorf, or the other line to Neumarkt (and then change trains to continue to Regensburg). For groceries and basics, there's a Norma an easy 800m walk away (and Edeka/Müller another 400m past that), but the easiest stores to reach are 4 minutes away by train in Ochentrup (a Lidl right next to the station plus 2 discount clothes/household stores). The easiest laundromat to reach is the Speedy-Wash not far from the Nuremberg train station. As for the apartment, the renovations went the extra mile to look nice. You're right above a burger restaurant and next to a stadium surrounded by forest with endless groomed gravel or rougher dirt paths if you're into biking or jogging. The refrigerator worked great, there was plenty of hot water, and the wireless Internet was FAST. No problems at all working on our laptops while the kids watched videos on our resting/working days. The shared kitchen could get busy, so we mostly got by on easy-prepare meals that could be heated in 10-15 minutes in a frying pan or microwave (when we weren't filling up on street food or similar). The host was extremely responsive once we got to Feucht and sent answers (sometimes via a local person) very quickly. The place isn't large (similar to a hotel room in size), but the price and location more than made up for it. In a nutshell: We had a great time here, and in 3+ weeks didn't come close to seeing everything this region has to offer.

Hosts were very responsive to questions and were ready to help even in the evening. The location is so close to the train, going to Nürnberg city center was very easy. Check in and checkout procedures were no-fuss and not complicated.
