Getting around
Our walking distance:
-Ecuadorian Chocolate, If you are a chocolate lover like us, you have to try it. Carlos and wife make the chocolate bars at the location, you can see the process, they offer samples and it is just a lovely place.
-Cajun Skillet, If you are in the mood for some spicy Louisiana authentic flavors visit this little place and bring the food to the tiny house. Cajun Skillet has the best tacos in town....this is most a pick up food place around the corner.
-Sushi Moto, It has great reviews but we haven't tried it yet. Used to be Poke bowl and we were very loyal :(
-Milanos opened their Cedar Park location a few months ago, Pizza is thin and delicious.
-El Patron, Mexican tacos / dishes and breakfast tacos.
-Cilantro Grill. Thai/hawaiian fusion. Our favorite is the yellow curry and Shrimp Pad Thai.
Our favorites just 5 min drive:
-Stiles Switch. It is an amazing place to have original Texas BBQ with the Austin vibes.
-Torchy's tacos. Best Green Chile queso, we love the tacos and their margaritas.
-HopDoddy, Supposed to be the best burger in Austin
-Pizza Via 313, A Local favorite. The best one is the Cadillac.
-Tacos "Las mamis" Food truck BEST birria tacos on the entire planet, the quesataco is to die for :) Only opens Tuesday-Saturday 11AM-3:00PM
Breweries near us:
Our new favorite place is “The great lot” local brewery with lots of outdoor sitting and amazing trees. They always have at least 3 food trucks. I am a big fan of their concept.
-Whitestone brewery is our classic and must to go as it is very close and we love their beer. There is a food truck taco/hamburger place on their premises.
-The humble pint, **8 min drive. Owners are from Oregon and they have amazing beer and pizza (pizza only after 4:00PM and it is worth it)
-Red horn brewery **8 min drive (They have two locations, the one in Leander has a better kitchen but the closer one has better ambiance and a patio)
Best breakfast places (five min drive)
-First watch, everything is delicious
-Blue Corn Harvest, they have an amazing $6 Booldy Mary bar on Sundays, Benedictine eggs are our favorites.
-One more broken egg ** min drive. Amazing breakfasts, a little over priced, but very good. Very similar to "Snooze".
10 min drive but worth it
-Jack Allen, Farm to table style restaurant, big portions very delicious.
-Mighty fine burgers
-Levant cafe.....Best authentic Israeli food. Try to make your own bowl.
-RamenTatsu-Ya just opened in Cedar Park! Super amazing Ramen. Before we used to drive to Down town to eat there.
-Euroasia it is a good place to have Asian dishes, sushi poke, ramen, etc.
