Lisa was an amazing host! She was always responsive, friendly and kind. The space was spacious and spotlessly clean. The land was beautiful, and the river was calm and peaceful. It was so nice to be out of the city and in nature while still close to any stores. I would definitely stay here again!

Acogedor y bello sotano, super comodo, muy bien equipada la cocina, amplio baño, las sabanas y toallas te hacen sentir en casa. La propiedad es magnifica!! Es una gran reserva de Bosque, tuvimos la fortuna de ver un venado en uno de los senderos, acceso al rio para pasear en en kayak, atardeceres divinos. Lisa una gran anfitriona, cuida todos detalles y tiene los jardines más bonitos con flores de Kinmount, estuvimos muy felices y descansados, sin duda regresaremos!!!

We spent a week tucked in the woods and surrounded by Lisa’s beautiful gardens. Her obvious care of the outside translated to the inside as well. Clean, comfortable, nicely laid out and well stocked, Lisa’s space was easy to settle into and enjoy. Lisa met us on arrival, showed us inside and gave us a tour of the extensive property. At every turn she was gracious, kind and friendly. We had a hydro glitch one morning which she responded to right away. We felt that we could contact her for any need and we were confident she would respond. That is no small thing when staying somewhere new and far from home! If you are looking for gorgeous surroundings, lots of parking (we had ATVs on a trailer) and a friendly atmosphere complete with a sweet dog, Parker, then Lisa’s place is definitely where you want to be!

What a hidden gem! Beautiful surroundings including a private riverfront and large wooded areas. The cottage is very clean and perfect for relaxing after a day full of activities

Comfortable and modern accommodations tucked away in a very private log home. It was everything we expected upon arrival with the exception of having a direct view of the river. A 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive accessed the dock with comfy chairs to watch the sunset, or venture out on the water in kayaks. Host was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable of the area and took great pride in her home, property and rental unit. A perfect choice for anyone looking for a comfy home away from home.
