After reading many good reviews about this place, I was surprised and disappointed in the reality of it. The location is so good, I wanted to like this studio. I noticed it was a little dirty right away, but throughout the night I kept noticing new things. The wall at the head of the bed was dark and dirty from past guests, the kitchen area was dirty, etc. I tried to ignore it. Finally, when the bed sheets weren’t clean, I had to decide to leave this place and try to get a refund. It was clear that the host didn’t spend much or any time cleaning the area before my arrival. Hopefully this wasn’t usual cleanliness for them, and maybe they’ve fixed some of the issues since I stayed here a few weeks ago.

Amazing location!!! Being right next to the subway station for 2 lines was so convenient. Also was very easy to get to Incheon Airport with all the multiple suitcases because it’s right next to the bus stop as well. Amazing food places nearby. Place itself is standard studio in Korea, but very clean and furnitures are places to maximize the small space. Being able to do laundry AND having the dryer was great. Wish the view was little better than the wall of the building next door and also that I don’t have to throw all the trash out myself as well as have to clean the shower sewers, but ultimately it was good for its price. Claire was also flexible with check out time even though I didn’t need it. Overall, fun place to stay in Gangnam. Definitely would stay again if I return.
